Homeless Ministry – Christmas Day 2015

❄️ December 25, 2015: Homeless Ministry – Winter Quarter: downtown Vancouver, Washington. What our culture calls Christmas day, Beit Shalom Balevav calls a day of opportunity to bless others. We handed out free tents, sleeping bags, blankets, winter clothing, and some food items to the less fortunate in our local community. While we were there we saw God working. Just when we were getting low on “stuff” to give out, we had someone pull up and donate a lot of hats, scarfs, and gloves! But the giving did not end there – other people arrived and left more items and still more people showed up in a group to serve hot drinks on a very cold day. You just can’t out give God. The Spirit was strongly felt and the fellowship with total strangers made this outreach a blessing for all.

And God is able to bless you abundantly, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work. -2 Corinthians 9:8
